The UNF Sport Management program and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp will remember UNF College of Education and Human Services alumni and Shrimp employee Emanuel "Manny" Hernandez, Jr. with a special night at the ballpark, 6:35 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019.

Manny earned his degree in sport management from UNF in 2017 and worked for the Jumbo Shrimp at the time of a fatal car accident.

Manny’s love of life and passion for baseball made an incredible impact on so many in the Jacksonville community. The UNF Sport Management program along with family and friends of Manny are raising funds to establish the Emanuel “Manny” Hernandez, Jr. Scholarship in his memory.
